Description
Laowa 24mm T14 2X PeriProbe is a specialized full-frame probe macro lens designed for cinematic macro photography, filmmaking, wildlife, product shots, food films, commercials, and highly creative camera movements. Its unique 24mm wide-angle perspective, 2X macro magnification, and 85° field of view allow filmmakers to capture subjects from an extremely close distance while retaining a strong sense of the surrounding environment.
The standout feature is its interchangeable 90° periscope and 0° direct-view modules. The 90° module allows the camera to look sideways or around tight spaces, opening up unusual perspectives that are difficult to achieve with conventional lenses. The lens can also rotate 360° along its axis, providing additional creative movement options.
The lens offers an impressive 2cm working distance and 2:1 macro magnification, making it ideal for capturing insects, textures, food, miniature objects, and extreme close-ups. Its front barrel is waterproof, while a built-in LED ring light provides illumination directly around the subject. The lens uses manual focus and manual aperture control, making it particularly suitable for controlled cinematic production.
