Sigma 24mm F1.4 DG HSM Art is a professional wide-angle prime lens designed for full-frame cameras, combining a versatile 24mm focal length with an exceptionally bright f/1.4 maximum aperture. It is ideal for filmmaking, cinematography, landscapes, architecture, weddings, events, astrophotography, environmental portraits, and low-light production. The wide perspective allows filmmakers to capture expansive scenes while maintaining strong subject presence and cinematic depth.
As part of Sigma’s renowned Art series, the lens is engineered for high optical performance. Its advanced construction incorporates two FLD elements, one SLD element, and three aspherical elements to help minimize chromatic aberration, distortion, and other optical imperfections. The result is high resolution, excellent contrast, and detailed images throughout the frame.
The lens features Sigma’s Hyper Sonic Motor (HSM) for fast and quiet autofocus, along with full-time manual focus control. Its 9-blade rounded diaphragm helps produce smooth out-of-focus areas and attractive bokeh. The lens is also compatible with Sigma’s USB Dock for customization and firmware updates on supported mounts.
