Canon RF 100-500mm F4.5-7.1L IS USM is a professional L-series super-telephoto zoom lens designed for Canon RF-mount full-frame cameras. Its versatile 100-500mm focal-length range provides exceptional reach for wildlife, sports, aviation, nature, events, and distant subjects while maintaining a relatively compact design for a super-telephoto lens.
The lens features one Super UD and six UD elements to reduce chromatic aberration and deliver high-resolution images throughout the zoom range. Its Dual Nano USM autofocus system provides fast, smooth, and quiet focusing, making it useful for both photography and video applications.
The built-in optical image stabilization offers up to 5 stops of correction, or up to 6 stops with compatible in-body stabilization. It also features three IS modes for stationary subjects, panning, and unpredictable movement. With a 0.33x maximum magnification at 500mm, the lens can capture impressive close-up images from a distance.
